This old York still shoots!
« on: May 03, 2010, 03:55:34 PM »
Hey! Went out back this evening and did a little shooting with the wife's old york recurve. This is an old bow! maybe even old as me! :D Anyway, shot from about 15 paces. First shot that was into the paper went alittle low, but the next one did not! Thats a 11/32" cedar 29" and spined at 35#. Pretty good old bow! This is the one I used to teach myself to shoot south paw! Thanks! scout4<><

My first "real" bow was a #30 York target model. As far as I can tell it was made in 1963 or so not real sure. It still shoots as well as it ever did!
