The best thing you can do with your .380-auto, is to trade it in on a 9mm-Luger and get twice as much "knock-down" in energy from that caliber verses what's in the .380-auto.
In my area it is almost impossible to purchase more than 1 box of ammo at a time and they keep track of when you purchased it etc. This really sucks big time!!! :(  >:(

  My cabelas order keeps  getting moved back. Its been due severl times already. It will show up sooner
 or later.  I have a little and use it sparringly until  I find more. 9mm seems plentiful.

I attended a gun show this past week-end in Abilene,Tx, I did not see a single box of .380 on any of the tables. There seemed to be a fair assortment of other ammo and some appeared to have less expensive than it has been.  One dealer had .223 (20 round box) for $3.49, I haven;t seen it that low in a while.

You are not the first to say .380 is hard to find.

Found some today but they wanted $60/50 rounds.  Decided I didn't need it that bad and left it on the shelf.

i just did that myseld traded it in and got a taurus  650 for my ccw , 357 and 38 which i reload for and got alot more knock down

 heck id give you 25 or so if you close to new london n.c... or if you got a friend that will send it to you ,,dn here..i cant afford to get in trouble now, an don t have much time for the shipping an stuff. but i can t get much practice in with mine either..to be adequate any ccw needs be practiced with..in this case 12 yrds an in..i wore one out getting adequate with mine ..i still just carry my 60 though in ,,in pants holster..but this little kel tec did surprize me.. im a wheel gun man now though..mine ,to date ,has never misfired or failed ..knock on wood..anythings possible..
 


the friend could im sure figure a way to get it to you now in all the packages going out.. not hinting at nothing illegal though :)..
 in any case they may become more available ,before bamas signs something that makes us all out laws..
 but the previous advice was good..sell it trade it or something..slim
 ps no thieves around here,im sure.. but thier will be a code word or something between me an the original poster ..
before i turn the .380s loose..so don t try it..

It really pays to reload.  In my area Walmart seems to have a good selection of common  ammo at the best prices.  They have 45 acp 230 hardball Winchester 100 packs for $32.99 a box.  Not a bad price, if you don't reload.  They limit to 6 boxes.  Seems 38 special, 357 mag, .32 acp and 380 are the hardest to find.

True, but God I hate loading 380s, always end up with a pinched finger given how small those darn things are (and how fat my fingers are)!

I've been in several stores lately and have seen more .380 than I have in a long time. The sportsman outpost in Waverly, Al had about 30 boxes looks like all their backorders came in at once.

i was at the south austin gun show and there was aguy there selling 100 rounds of reloads using xtp for $30
that show is sure sufering thank you "cheif" and perry didnt really do anything either and if i am right he got the suport of the nra
