Revelation 30-06 Pump rifle?

   Can anybody tell me about the Revelation pump rifle?  I'm guessing it was a Savage made for Western Auto. I'd really appreciate someone's personal experience with one, and some additional info. Thanks!

Savage made a model 170 pump rifle, but I don't believe they made it in 30-06, I could be wrong on that though.

In any event, if you have the make and model number you can probably find out who made it on Hoosier Gun Works cross reference chart, here's a link to it:

I had a 30-30 in the Savage.  It was a good rifle, and I shoulda' kept it.  If the deal is good, you might want to consider it......

Upon closer look, barrel pitted, lands and groves really worn. Don't need a project. Oh well.

I picked up a western auto revelation 30-06 in a bolt action way back in the early 70's and i found out it was orginally manufactured by Mossberg.  Its been shooting nickle sized groups with my reloads ever since for all these many years. Back then it was a deal with a scope/scopemount at $172.(rifle too).  I been very happy with the revelation guns.

MOSSBERG , more gun for the money
