Price for a Topper 3 barrel set
« on: April 24, 2010, 02:14:32 AM »
Could anyone give me a ball park figure for a H&R frame with three barrels. 30-30, 22 Hornet and 20 gauge. Each is in good shape and none have been shot more than a couple of times. A guy wants to buy them from me and I have no idea the value. Thanks for any help!

I just paid $200 for a 2 barrel set in 30-30 and 20 ga topper 158 from 1974.  Barrels and wood are in decent shape.

You know what you have in it, and if you want a fair price/profit(?) you pick a number and post it on the H&R Classifieds. If it is priced right then you will get a buyer here.

What is model # on the frame?  I bought a H&R 058 in really nice shape (30-30 with a 20ga barrel w/poly choke) for $165 a couple years ago.  I consider that a really good deal!  The .22 Hornet barrel is a real plus!  IMHO, w/o stock, a 'ball park' value would be $300 - $350. Maybe more if you part it out.

Two months ago I purchased, off of AuctionArms, a H&R model 058 in 357Mag and 20 ga.as new in the original box with all papers for $200.00.  They're out there!
