I need help determining the year of a riffle I just inherited. I have read the "Remington Year of Manufacture Codes" to try to figure it out. The first letter is a J and not included in BLACKPOWDERX. Also this riffle has 3 letters that dont figure in some how. The complete alpha code on the left side of my barrel is J A S. Can anybody help?
