Take a look at a box of 200gr Remington SP Coreloks for the 35's. (Not the PSP - they are pointed) The SP's are round nose and not restricted to any particular 35 caliber rifle. I've shot several hundred through my 356W and they really get down range in a hurry. No worries. The Hornady round nose has also been written up in the rags with this cartridge. I've used the 250gr Hornady RN and like it very much, though it has a rather small round nose - it has never given a problem of any kind. Most of these concerns have evaporated for me as I usually hunt with cast bullets any more with my BB94 356W. Your Marlin should like 'em all just fine. Just make double sure they say RN or FN or FP and not Spitzer or Spire Point or FMJ. The one that might really cause confusion is the Spire Point. That abbreviation become SP just like the Soft Point is SP. You have to make sure it's a RNSP and not a PSP or a Spire Point - they will ruin your whole day.
