I own two of these, one SxS and one O/U. Have never shot the O/U yet.
Not quite sure why people keep on saying the regulation is either on or off as you regulate the rifle yourself. Very simple process as I have tried no less than 5 different loads in mine and last time out 2 shots from each barrel went into a circle under 1 1/2 inches at 50 yards. Comb is to high to use the standard iron sights, and to low to use a scope. Added one of those leather pads to the stock and now it fits me perfectly lining up the red dot that is on it.
Where else can you get a SxS 30 06 double rifle that you can regulate to the load you want to use for $600 (O/U's were a lot cheaper) and that only weighs about 6 1/2 pounds (estimated)?
Current load is the 220 grain Hornady soft points running out as a estimated 2,400 fps. I would use this load on anything that walked in the USA. Soon I'll have the triggers fixed and the automatic safety deactivated and the rifle will be perfect.
Oh, if you think they are junk, try to find a used SxS for what most of us paid for them new, $600 range. Also own a Chapuis, Searcy, and a Valmet 412. None of them are more accurate than this rifle.
