question about SB-1 frame

I have seen some post that say H&R will fit .44 mag and .357 Mag barrels on a SB-1 shotgun frame. Is this true? Seems there is conflicting Info on H&R's website. It says they will not fit rifle barrels on a shotgun frame. The .44 Mag I saw at a local gun shop was marked for .44 and .357 Mag barrels only which would tell me it is a SB-1 Frame.Anyone ever send in a true shotgun frame for a .44 mag barrel?

I don't think H&R will fit a 44 to the shotgun frame because of the large firing pin.

Yes, they will fit those two rifle barrels to SB1 frames made 1987 and later, they've been doing it for the last year or so.

Thanks Mr. Quick! Looks like I may send my frame in for a .44 barrel if they have any in stock.
