Gun Runner, Sorry your wife's Mothers day was spoiled but I'm glad that you didn't just ignore the warning signs and go to that BBQ or it could have been your last.  Here's wishing you a speedy, full recovery.

She coulda gone to the BBQ without you.  Coulda called later to check up on ya.

She made the choice about where to spend her day.

Why blame yourself?

Tell her something on the order of, "you missed out this year, but I will take you next year and the year after and the year after. Any alternative would have been you missed this year and next year you drive yourself. It's all about choices. I chose us."

or something to that effect.

Glad you got it in time...

I had the "big one" and 5 bypasses and a rotor router on the sixth. I made it and I'm glad, used to think i was bullet proof. I understand my frailty now! I hope you see many more Mothers Days I intend to!

Couldn't stand that the mothers were getting all the attention huh? No, seriously old friend, its good you got the right care and heeded the warnings. You might have been 1 or 2 greasy BBQ ribs from a lot more problems. Rest up, heal up. I want to see more of your comments on GB for a long time. Besides, I think of you every time I load up a batch of 41 mags with those dies you gave me. Thanks and best wishes.

I am glad it was not the Saturday breakfast we had.  Your color looked okay, wait I could not see skin color under all that hair.  In fact you have more color than Graybeard.   ;D

Been just doing some light puttering around the house. Did manage to get the boy to take me to the store for couple things. Told him I was gonna get even for all the times I took him places and went and picked him up in the middle of the night.
Wife says if I dont want to go to a Bar B Q I dont have to go. But if its because I dont feel good or have chest pains were off to Auburn Faith Hospital again.  ::)
Siskiyou, Iam older than GB and better looking.  ;D

Gun Runner if you and L need a ride give me a call.  There will be a time down the road I will be tied up at the VA hospitial with a hunting partner while he has surgery.  I want him to heal fast so he can drag my buck out in the fall.

Just contain the dog, I have enough dog bite scars, even the local bear and lion give him space! ;)

Siskiyou, thanks for the offer for a ride. I'am lucky in the transportation dept. that the boy lives at home, daughter is 40 mins away, younger brother lives a block from me, and the guy that lives next door to him is my old beer drinking buddy from high school, and I take his grandson fishing with me during the summer. I would almost be afraid to call for a ride, theres not enough space in my front yard for all the cars/trucks.  :o
But thanks for the offer and the same applies to you if you need a ride.

I knew that I was in trouble when the checkout lady wished my wife "Happy Mother's Day" and my wife replied, "Why Thank you...you're the 1st person to say that to me today".

Just shoot me. ???
