At a gunshow today, 10" tapered .357 Herrett
« on: May 22, 2010, 12:32:55 PM »
it had the shorty checkered forend with it, soldered front sight, adjustable rear, split bolt. Priced at $150 and was offered to toss a coin for $125 or $150.
I was tempted to offer $100 but I've already got a 14" bull.
It's at the Jim Miller Park in Marietta, Ga. and show is on tomorrow as well if anyone's looking for that barrel. Bet that 10" is a loud one!

I have a 10 inch tapered barrel 357 Herrett.  I don't think it's any louder than other cartridges with similar length barrels.

Soldered front sight; I personally wouldn't buy it.  I like my scoped handgun barrels with no front sight or holes therefore and a 357 Herrett is begging to be scoped.

I already have a 14" .357 Herrett barrel. It's about right, just like the .35 Remington I had years ago.
