I am getting ready to order a 219 Zipper barrel. I have a couple 5.56x52R's aka 22 Savage HiPower and can make the cases from my 25/35 brass. The problem with the HiPower is it is a .227 caliber and does not allow me to shoot .224 bullets without a bit of gyration so I want to get the Zipper. Do you have any calibers you have always wanted to get a barrel and load for ?

One species has evolved into obese cranial fatheads with thin skin in comparison that whines about anything and everything as their shield against their environment. Meus

I always wanted a 256 winchester and a 25-35. I have a 22 hornet and  a 45 70 in pistol and 7  30 waters in carbine. My first contender was an octagon barrel 1970's  222 remington. Am I sorry I sold that.

I have a .22 K-Hornet barrel for my Contender.  I'd like to add a .256 Winchester Magnum, a .218 Bee and a .22 Jet barrel to it.

I don't have an Encore yet, but if/when I get one, I'd like to get a .22 Savage Hi-Power barrel and a .225 Winchester barrel for it.

My very first Contender bought in '89 was a .256 win mag in ten inch octagon.  I had to hunt high and low for any remaining ammo and was paying $35 per box of 50 even back then.  Long about then I found two boxes of unprimed brass in a pawn shop for $10 per box so I snatched them up.  Shortly after that I started reloading and it's been a slippery slope ever since.  ;D  I still have a dozen or so of those factory loads.

Thought more than once [usually all it takes to make buy] about wanting these:

.375 Win in a 14" bull barrel
.25-35 Win in a Rifle barrel [and most likely Ackley Improve it later]. I like 25s but want rims on my Contender ctgs.
.22 Short Match Bull Carbine/Rifle bbl. [I have 3 Winchester model 56s in 22 SHORT-clip fed bolt rifles from the 1920s]
.38 Spl Rifle/Carbine Bull barrel.....possibly suppressed later after trying 'as is'. A Maximum reamer could change this later!
.22 K Hornet Rifle bull bbl....had one in bolt Ruger 77/22 before.
.17 Ackley Hornet....already have a custom CZ bolt rifle, but the Contender loves rimmed cases..so....
......now I'm spending more than I have time OR money for! ha!

I know I've always thought it would be cool to have:

.25-20
.256 Win (wouldn't this be cool in a little bolt gun?)
.25-35
.22 Hornet
.250 Savage
.45 ACP Carbine (either in the older Ruger or maybe in a TC)
9mm Carbine (same)
.357 Max (in a TC or a light, trim bolt action)
.357 Mag (in a bolt gun or lever)
.327 Mag ( same )

I know there are many others, but this list just popped in my head.

I have a 270 REN that's a lot of fun. I would love to have a 357x44 Baines and Davis.

Man I love to have these in bolt guns.
