Ruger Charger Question....

Hello everyone.  I have a question for you all.  Do any Charger owners shoot their Chargers standing, like a conventional pistol?

The reason I ask is I was thinking of possibly buying a 6" bull barrel for the Charger and trying to shoot it like a pistol.  Thinking the shorter barrel would balance the gun a little better.

What do you all think?

mine is to nose heavy, I went to a 12" barrel.
6" you may be able to hold steady, but my thought is you are going against the intended design.
mine wears a rifle barrel cut back to 12" and the front site reinstalled with a raiser. loosing the scope would help with weight.
