TC Contender barrel extension
«

I bought a Choate barrel extension to use on my super 14 barrel to make it legal to use with a carbine stock. How do I attach this extension so that I can remove it easily to be used with different barrels?
Thanks,
John B.

I believe the idea is that it NOT be easily removeable. The idea of the extension is to turn a 14 incher into a 16+ inch barrel. If it's too easy to remove it won't be legal. Just to be certain check with the local ATFE officr. You may even find it on their website..

They have a lot of info online. Just a hint, never, never take anyone's word for what the ATF rules say. ASK! They fon't get do well with 'mistakes'. Thier rules should contain an idea of how permanent it must be to be legal. In any case it won't be usable on several barrels...
