I have one on a RBLP target action with a PacNor 300 WSM barrel.

I absolutely love the stock. The bipod is a Harris HBRM-S (6-9", notched leg, swivel). It fits on there with no problems. Harris does sell and adapter for flat forends if you're worried about it though.

I have a gray with black spider webbing Medalist on a Remington 700 short action (the same color as the picture above) and I have the Chaote on a Stevens 200 short action with a Shilen select match grade barrel. I like them both. The Medalist is heavy and the Chaote is even heavier. I think the styling on the Bell & Carlson is better, but accuracy wise, you can take your pick.

Here is a picture of the Chaote stock.

My 12FV wears a Medalist stock.  Like it just fine.  Infinitely better than the tupperware POS that came on the rifle.  For having a fairly large aluminum bedding block, I didn't think it all that heavy but that could just be because the rifle itself weighs so much.
