I'm a fan of the 1X4 Leupold Shotgun scopes. Have them on all my slug shotguns and muzzleloaders except my 209X50. That one has a 2X7 Leupold Shotgun scope just to be a little different. I particularly like the extra heavy reticle in the woods, and that the parallax is set for 75 yards. I like to keep the scope on the low power settings, typically 2X. If I see a deer at some distance and he is unalerted, I'll have time to spin the power dial up.
