Comparing between the two, is the Bergara barrel worth the money?

They both have Bergara barrels so to speak. They are made in the same facility, but the ones with the bergara name get more finish polishing.

I have the Optima 209 Magnum personally and it shoot .5" 3 shot groups at 50 yards. The extra money wasn't worth it to me!

I was also wondering the same thing.  From an accuracy standpoint, will the bergara barrel on the Accura V2 be more accurate then the barrel on the Optima?

I have the Optima and just sighted it in this weekend. I shot with Blackhorn 209 at 80 grains, Triple 7 ff at 80,90,and 100 grains. And I shot 295 powerbelts and 270 grain Harvestor sabertooths. All of my shots stayed within 1.5" at 50 yrds off a fence post and even some thrown in freehand. I couldn't believe how well it shot considering the powder changes and bullet changes.

I can only imagine on a bench, with a good rest, perfecting the load/bullet, and some patience...........I believe I could widdle it down a lot !
