Too late to plant.???

Got some free space in my garden, just wondering if theres anything that I could plant right now. This is my first garden, so talk real slow & simple for me. Thanks  Jay

I bet if you look at you state's agricultural website you can find a complete table of planting dates for garden veggies.  We have on in NC.  Where are you?

Depends on what you want.
Early sweet corn can still be put in and you will be able to enjoy it in Sept. especially it very warm humid weather like MN is having continues.
My one second planting was only six inches high last week and is now well over a foot high.

Radishes can still go in, chiles, broccoli, cauliflower but you should go to a garden shop and get started plants. Some garden shops here are now selling at close out prices so buying is good.
I am going to get some raspberry plants for less than ten bucks verses near twenty a month ago.

Not to late. I just plant spinich and lettuce seeds  for a late crop. I live in North WI.

A fall planting of bush green beans is still possible.  That far north a planting of turnips is also about right.

Some of the summer squashes grow pretty fast and should make it if you have good moisture.

not sure of yur climate but id plant some more green beans if yu like them, i do a lot.turnips, lettuce and radishes should do well also as your weather will be cooling a little soon

Getting ready to plant snap peas. Couldn't get in the garden until June because of the rain. But, last year, put in peas late, and got a nice batch for the freezer by the end of Sept. gypsyman

I really need to get out in the garden to prepare my seed beds but it has been so blasted hot lately that I just can't get up the energy to do it.  I have never tried snap peas in the fall.  If I can still find any seeds anywhere and I get the ground worked up I may give them a try.  I meant to plant some this spring but tiller went south and by time I got a new one it was too late.
