I wanted to test my new pack today so I put in 12 miles in 4 hours to see how she rode.  I had about 25lbs of gear in it and it worked great.  Here's the trail.

Nice looking pack, glad it worked out for you. I noticed your hiking stick which is a little short for up here in the mountains where I live. I make mine all about even with my ears in length maybe just a tad longer, so that I can use them to brace myself when going down a very steep incline. They need to be long like that to reach down so I can hold my balance.

Yep, you can tell you got flat ground there with that stick. Your a very smart man for being prepared. Most would have 100 lbs or more and never be able to carry it very well. If they would do like you and work their way up it would be more feasible. Not to bad for a remington guy.  :o
Have a nice day.  ;D
