I went to the range yesterday and ran 200 rounds of Blazer ammo through it. Worked flawlessly. The gun is very accurate and a joy to shoot.
Regarding dry firing, I got this from the FAQ's on the Sig web site:
"It is safe to dry-fire our center fire pistols. You would want to use a snap cap or plug if extensive dry-firing is done. Always count your dry-firing in your live fire count to be sure all springs and pins are in top condition. DO NOT intentionally dry-fire any rim fire pistol such as the Mosquito, .22LR conversions or Classic Pistols."
I haven't been dry firing on purpose, so I'm probably OK, but occasionally I'll loose count of the rounds fired and accidently dry fire. Hopefully that won't be a problem. I tried again using a spent case as the first round in the magazine. All it does is jam the slide open. It does not lock the slide open. I don't think I'll do that anymore. Counting generally works.
