Good luck finding the 300gr Silvertip ammo in 375H&H.  You're right they did stop making it 3 yrs back.  To many failures in Africa, though it was great on the big stuff North America has to offer.  I've been unable to find the ammo you seek since oh... my last box emptied 2 1/2yrs ago.  My new favorite is 300gr RN by Weatherby for the 375H&H.  Graf & Sons has it on CLEARANCE for $23-$24 a box.  Shoot .6" 3 shot groups in my rifle with great velocity!  Good stuff, I've slowly been stocking up.  Got 5 boxes now.

I have 17 rounds in a factory box. If you think it's worth the trouble I'll trade even for 17 rounds of another new, factory 300 grain.

Why are so you interested in the Silvertips?

I use 300 grain Federal Hi-Shocks and Nosler Partitions.  The partitions are about $45 a box, but the Hi-Shocks are about $25 a box (if I remember correctly.)

In my .375H&H, I can put 3 bullets almost in the same hole at 100 yards.  Performance on game is deadly, and it appears that the partitions are deadlier because they expand more in the begining, yet have the mini-solid in the rear to push it through.

That is why I reload for my 375H&H. I can always get my same load no matter what. Well that why I reload for all my guns. Nothing like rolling your own.  :D
