Value of Winchester Shotgun?
« on: July 27, 2010, 05:35:44 AM »
Howdy...

Trying to determine the selling value of a  Winchester 1300 Defender in 12 ga.  Gun is the Mariner model and has a finish resistant to rusting.

Like new, has been carried in the field but less than 50 rounds fired.

Any help, including a range of value would be appreciated.

Thanks!

I would expect to see one like it tagged in a funshop, warrantied, @ $400 - but wouldn't pay that much for one.

Maybe, if I had a boat, and needed a boat gun, I might....................................

Rick...Thanks for your reply.

During my poking around I haven't come across a pistol grip, but if I do I will gladly PM you with the information.  Sounds like you did get a good deal from your neighbor.

Ive checked prices on dozens of 1300 defenders on the internet and you can pretty much take your choice for around $300.  However, I have not yet found one "Mariner" with the rust resistant finish, so Im still curious how much that increases the resale value.
