The Australian maker of Yellow Tail Wine has pledged $100,000 to the Humane Society of the United States (HSUS), the nation’s largest anti-hunting organization. This partnership offers further proof of HSUS’ work to spin its animal rights message in a way as to seem mainstream.

We may want to think about this the next time we're shopping for wine

I don't usually buy Yellow Tail when getting wine for my wife, but now I definitely won't.

, they were usally the ones i would pick up as a "safe" choice if i had to buy wine.... oh well, i'd much rather prefer Captain Morgans "Private Stock" to sip on.

I think they should pay an excise tax on wine to replace the one on firearms and sporting goods to replace the lost revenue if they are successful. Its only fair,if they want to ban hunting,they should foot the bill for the conservation programs that we now pay for. I bet peoples tune would change real fast if they had to pay out of pocket for what we are now paying for.

I think anyone who wants to ban hunting and is successful in doing so should be required to castrate males of the wild animals left that they ban hunting for . They shoul also be required to tape the process so the rest of us can watch. A good test would be bears in NJ. Maybe the red wolf in NC. as test .Oh yea no putting them to sleep ( wouldn't want to harm um ) .

It's purely PR. Many of the Goody-two-shoes that sip wine also have nuttin' else to do but support a cause. Providing shelter and taking care of homeless dogs and cats is one that's a favorite of theirs. It's a cause many hunters support also. Unfortunately, HSUS doesn't differentiate between animal shelters and anti-hunting, and unfortunately many of those goody-two-shoes don't hunt. It's too dirty and messy. They'd rather dress up and go to a wine tasting benefit for the local animal shelter......and guess what wine they will be serving?

They may not be a force but hunters / shooters are . We should take the stand that either you are with us or aginst us and stick to it . Treat the rest of the world as we do ourselves . We almost ruined one writer over a statement on black guns , S&W and Colt have both been under the gun for decisions they made along with others .
