Full bull forend
« on: June 17, 2010, 05:47:05 PM »
I've been into Contenders for 20 years or so but only got my first carbine this year, an old style in stainless with a tapered 16" barrel and composite furniture.  I recently purchased a nice SSK barrel in full bull and realized my forend won't fit because it is for a tapered barrel.  Does anyone offer a full bull (0.810") forend in black composite or is my best bet just to buy another like my first one and modify it myself?

Thanks,
Curtis

It only takes a few minutes with sandpaper to modify a composite forend to full bull. Use a socket the right size wrapped with sandpaper as a guide.
Did one yesterday.

Excellent!  Thanks to you both.  I missed the one on the TC page, I guess I was seeing "G2" everywhere.
