New stock options for a Puma 92?
« on: August 30, 2010, 11:08:49 AM »
Last week I took my Puma 92 44mag out bear hunting.  It's a stainless model and it got taken out on the rainy days.  While sitting there in the rain and looking at the water on the nice wood stock I got thinking about how nice it would be if there was a quality synthetic or laminated stock & foreend for the rifle that I could swap out for days like this.  Don't get me wrong, on this particular type of rifle I love the looks of a wood stock especially against the stainless steel, but when it's raining steady and I'm not going anywhere for a while, I'd rather have synthetic.

I'm still going to use some boiled lin seed oil on the wood stock, but I was curious about what options are out there and if anyone had any experience with them.
