Hyperinflation
« on: June 11, 2010, 04:08:33 PM »
Just out for a run and came back through the neighborhood, a gaggle of little girls had a lemonade stand out on the busy intersection so I figured I'd stop and see how business was going. 50 CENTS FOR A DIXIE CUPFUL!! The end is near ...  ;D

Everything I buy is going up in price, but the government says there is zero inflation, thus no social security price increase last january. Hmmm.... Do you suppose I am buying only the things that go up in price?
I hope you sipped that lemonade real slow TN.    :)

The way they figure inflation is kind of "ify" anyways.  Home prices have gone down recently because noone is buying so, that can easily pull down inflation numbers.  I think inflation should be figured on consumable items that people have to buy every day.  Someone who has a fixed 30 year mortgage isn't going out an buying a new house everyday.
