GROUND SQUIRRELS
« on: August 09, 2010, 03:09:31 PM »
I do a lot of ground squirrel "management" for local ranchers in the N. San Joaquin Co. California.  Permission has been gained by knocking on a few doors and presenting myself and my card.  I have 19 videos posted on You Tube.  If your interested go to the following site.  From that video I think you can access the other videos.  Just let me know what you think. Its quite a production to shoot and video at the same time.

This was my latest video where I managed 22 diggers.

Looks like they are tough little buggers. They are an entirely different varmint from what I grew up calling ground squirrels in Texas. I moved over to NM and hardly ever see one here. Guess the ground is too rocky for them.

No question they take a round.
