Having recently maximized my .357 handi rifle I started hunting load data for the max. Vihtavuori has data listed for the max and was wondering if any of you fellers have used thier powder and if so are the results satisfactory?

I used to use alot of 310 in the 38special and my most accurate loads were with it. I just couldnt afford to buy it at the price they ask so switched to bullseye and surplus pr200.

i have been using N110 in my GP100 357mag for 10+ years and i find it to be an excellent powder. i will soon try it in my 500 s&w mag 26 inch barrel.

I've used N133 and N160 in rifles, and N340 in pistols. It's good-quality powder, just more expensive (like everything from western Europe).

Thanks guys for the response. I guess I'm gonna use n-110 in the maxi. As for more expensive I can't really agree because the local Gander Mtn is selling pretty much all alliant powders.....Bullseye....2400 ect for nearly the same price as n-110 although they don't handle it at least in Fayetteville NC there price is $29.95 lb and I got the n-110 for $31.95 at a mom and pop shop in Wilkesboro NC. I realize that online bullseye and such is much cheaper but with haz mat and shipping fees unless a person is buying a bunch it winds up about the same. Once again thanks for the respones.
