Ruger No. 3 lever finish question

I have a new to me No. 3 that had perfect metal except for the lever.  After removing all of the lever's blueing with BirchWood Casey Rust and Blueing Remover the metal is quite smooth but is not highly polished. Was the original No. 3 lever polished to a mirror finish or just very smooth. If anyone has a photo of the No. 3 lever that could be emailed I would appreciate it.

Miike, I just took a peek at my #3. The finish on the lever appears to be the same as the barrel & receiver - I would call it semi-gloss or satin. Sorry, but I don't have a camera that takes closeup shots detailed enough to really show the finish.

You might check #3 ads on Gunbroker or Auction Arms. Some of the ads have pretty detailed pictures.

+1 with IctrcJim, a little more gloss than satin and the lever is blued also..............steg

I would say that the finish is smooth satin - not highly polished - on mine.
