« on: May 16, 2010, 01:59:53 PM »
i was wondering if these were any good?, i have friend who has two for sale. he is getting a in the waist band holster for his p95 and offered me his two uncle mikes kydex belt hosters. one he has used for about 2 months the other is still new in box. he has offered me both for just $15 so to put that on another holster for conceal carry. i have a fobus for my p95 but don't know much about uncle mikes. thanks for any help.

2 holsters for $15...doesn't say much for the holsters does it?  ;)  Seriously, you get what you pay for.  Why have your nice pistol be in a shabby holster?

i just gave $17 for my fobus and it fits my p95 perfect, holds tight but with an easy draw. i have never seen or used uncle mikes kydex till i saw my friends. i'll probably go ahead and get them as its only $15 and i might need them sometime if my fobus fails till they (fobus) sends me another.

If it works...  personally, I like GOOD holsters and leather.  Otherwise, to me, it's no different than buying a REALLY nice rifle then putting a cheap scope on it.  Good luck with it though. :)

I have one of those Uncle Mike holsters and they work fine on my 1911.  Been using it for years now without a problem.  I originally bought it because its the only holster that they had in the store for a 1911 but I am happy with it.
