CO2 Leak in Crosman Pellet Pistol
« on: June 22, 2010, 07:45:36 AM »
I have a Crosman Model 1861 Shiloh that leaks a cartridge immediately after installing.  It appears the seal where the cartridge seats is missing.  I have called Crosman's Service Center, who referred me to their network of service centers.  I finally got one to answer the phone and he said since it is a old pistol he could not help me unless I sent it in for an overhaul.

Has anyone found a workaround for this problem using an o ring or something?

but you may have to send it to an airgunsmith for a rebuilt.  Surprisingly inexpensive usually.
