The Hunter

Whenever, in the course of the daily hunt, the hunter comes upon a scene that is strikingly beautiful, or sublime - a black thundercloud with the rainbow's glowing arch above the mountain, a white waterfall in the heart of a green gorge, a vast prairie tinged with the blood-red of the sunset - he pauses for an instant in the attitude of worship.

He sees no need for a setting apart one day in seven as a holy day, because to him all days are God's days.

Thanks Spirithawk! This is the way it is for me! Especially in the autumn when I hunt with my olde recurve bow and wood arrows, with very little camo, if any. The things I've seen have been amazing! scout4<><

The wonders i see when i walk in the woods alone are multiplied tenfold when i just open my eyes. I leave the rest of the world behind me and see what God has put before me. I basque in the glory of life around me. M heart beats with the soul of nature.
