Ruger No 1-V

Just bought a Ruger No. 1 used it is as new. I went shooting yesterday, one thing is in order the trigger really need to be adjusted i had to stand on it to go off. anyone know where or how to adjust a trigger on this rascal. Be ever grateful.  Lou

I am waiting to see the answer myself, but I think you need to say how old it is.
Seems like the older ones are adjustable and the newer ones are not.
My 1-V is two years old, and I don't think it is adjustable.

Pre 1980 should have the three screw adjustable trigger, after that Ruger went to a two screw trigger that is not so adjustable.

I was able to get my two screw to a decent setting.  It worth a shot,  if not get one of the replacements.
