TKS folks are good people.  I've ordered from them before and service was always prompt and friendly.  They are really great for the hobby and semi-pro knifemaker.  I don't know if the full time pros use them as much or look elsewhere for more bulk buying.

I used them quite a bit when I first started, and always liked their products and service, but not their prices(especially postage).  However, most catalogs are like that.  As I found other sources for steel, handle materials etc that were closer to the source(therefore not offered for re-sale),I went there.  I still use their heat treating services for Steels such as A-2 and D-2, and like their work.  I called them quite often with questions, and they were always courteous, and more than willing to help.  Good people.
