What price for scope???
« on: November 29, 2003, 09:24:54 AM »
I bought a scope package for my Super RedHawk and I recently sold the gun but still have the scope and ruger scope rings that came with the gun. What should I ask for the scope/ rings?

It is a Leupold M8-2X20mm Extended Eye Relief  color black

You can usually find them used for about $125 to $135.  I bought a blued one in great shape from Ed's Contenders for $130 including shipping.
The only thing you should feel when shooting insurgents is recoil.

You SHOULD give the rings to the guy who bought the gun. They do come with them from the factory right?

As to the scope the response you've gotten is dead on. I've NEVER paid more than $125 used for one or sold one for more either. I've bought and sold a bunch of them. Often find them at gunshows almost as new for $100-120. Some folks ask as much as $150 but I've never seen one sell for that yet.

Ed has one listed for: Leupold 2x $135.00

I've seen them go for more than they are worth on ebay.
