Shootall
With every caliber is a small amount of perfecting something that is not broken.
I like the 9x23---it gives me .357 velocity in a single or double stcakes semi-auto.
It provides about the same velocities as the 10mm.
It is a smaller cartridge than the 10mm and therefore does not have the whallop.
It, the 9x23, shoots smoothly with much less felt recoil--IMO--than the 10mm.
Much like its first cousin, the .38 super, it provides a base fora 1911 to compete with the .357, out perform the 9mm and not have to suffer the recoil---I think mainly because it is in a 1911 configuration.
Shucks---I like it but I have other in .45 and I like them also.
Actually--in a street fight--I would prefer the .45.
Whatever melts ones butter.
The 9x23 is a pleasure to shoot.
