i believe him
« on: July 09, 2010, 05:39:28 PM »
I believe johannes mehserle the bart cop when he says he ment to draw his taser and fry the guy hand cuffed on the ground. Not draw his service weapon and get his gun off. I believe cops and ex cops when they say some cops are criminals but not all cops. I believe new cop shows ars coming out this fall so the sheeple can get their cop fix. I believe that the cops will soon come for your guns and you. And I believe you cop lovers absolutely deserve what is coming to you.

Searlock, I get the distinct impression that you have a problem with cops.   Not sure what's up with that but I think that if you actually got to know a few of them you may find that they put their pants on one leg at a time.  In other words they are people just like all the rest of us.  Some are good people, some are butt holes.  Unfortunately you more often hear about the butt holes than the ones who are good people.

In case you were wondering, I am not now nor ever have been a LEO.  Nor do I consider myself a "cop lover" any more than I consider myself a "plumber lover", "doctor lover", "electrician lover".... well I think you get the point.
Now, when I need a doctor a plumber won't do, if I need a plumber an electrician won't do and if I should ever need a cop (even if it is just to make out a report after I have used my gun in justifiable self defense) only a cop will do.  ;)

I know some cops and the pants they put on are not like mine. As far as the plumber electrician and doctor go only the doctor has a licence to kill like the cops do but you don't hear much about them for the same reason. The brotherhood like the cops who were with johannes and lied for him when he commited the murder. They should all be convicted of murder. I see slobama will send his justice dept. To investigate. Great.     Cops against cops.

Gee, when the expert witness for the prosecution says that he has found himself with a gun in his hand without knowing how it got there...kind of makes you think, doesn't it?

My thinking is if the perpetrator had stopped and given himself up this wouldn't have happened.

IMO, a tazer, at least the one's I've seen, look like a Glock.  I can see how a cop could pull the wrong one.

I've never been a cop, but I have great respect for the job they do.  We expect them to be perfect while under extreme threat of bodily harm, but is this a realistic expectation?

There were two contributors to this tragedy.  As dead men tell no tales, and as the other was trying to do a difficult job without getting his self killed we only have one side of the story.

I think the verdict was fair given the circumstances and not hearing all the testimony.

Could someone translate this to english for me. I do not have the greatest grammar and spelling skills but this is pretty bad.

From what I read, he was on the ground, still grappling with the guy. He reached for his tazer, and pulled out his pistol instead, and shot the guy.
Now, by coincidence, at our city's 4th of July fireworks display, just a week ago or so, something caught my eye. And, after I read about this incident, I can certainly see how this could happen. Our local police, carry .45 Sigs, and tazers. On a right handed cop I seen where the tazer was directly behind the pistol, and the grip, even thou it was yellow, had the same shape as the Sig. In a situation like what the officer was in, I see where the officer reached for the tazer, and mistakenly withdrew his pistol instead.
I know if it was me, I'd probably move the tazer over to a cross draw holster instead, just so in a life or death situation like this, I wouldn't pull out the tazer, when I needed to use the pistol. gypsyman

Everyone's comments about this issue seem to be based upon what they've been led to believe or not believe, by the media.  Or personal opinion, maybe.  This case went to court.  Not everyone liked the outcome.  I don't want to take either side of this issue, but have any of you posting today actually read the actual complete trial transcripts and the testimonies given?  What really caused the jury to come up with the verdict that they did?  The most racist thing anybody can say would be to conclude that the verdict was based upon racism, if they haven't actually looked into all of the facts. The courts are issuing what appear to be some pretty strange decisions these days, and decisions are reported and/or publicly howled about in very strange ways, with everybody having some sort of agenda.  All I'm saying is, there may be more to it that what's been reported.  Either way, I no longer trust what most of the press reports in newspapers, magazines, or TV. Especially about issues like this one.

They likely came up with the verdict they did because they were afraid to find him not guilty. Because if they did the blacks would riot and burn the damn town like they do when things don't go their way!
On the other hand cops should not be allowed to have tazers! They are to quick to use them and have killed several people with them! They are on a power trip , and taze someone over and over while yelling for him to lay still, which is imposable with fifty thousand volts going through your body every time they pull the trigger!

If freedom were not at stake it would be fun to watch the sheep swallow a camel and then choke on a gnat. Sheep absolutely deserve what is going to do us all in.
