Mexican border
« on: October 07, 2010, 06:03:52 AM »
Fox News ran a story with footage from hidden government cameras showing truck loads of illegal immigrants and other illegals back packing bales of marijuana along a corridor 80 miles inside Arizona. You think this was news to the feds? Wrong! they had posted large metal signs warning people to avoid that area as being very dangerous.
Now ain't that something! Closing an area to U.S. citizens while granting free access for smugglers. They should have posted another sign reading "your tax dollars at work".
The story of David & Goliath only demonstrates the superiority of ballistic projectiles over hand weapons, poor old Goliath never had a chance.

Yep people would line up from miles around and probably pay good money to fire off a few shots. Kinda like hunting out of state. ;D

Like the prohibition in the 1930's, a black market was created by the government and the result is that crime becomes profitable. Use of the prohibited substance also increases.

Eliminate the prohibition and the problem disappears as it did before.

Trouble is our gov. is probably making more money off drugs than we suspect. That is why it isn't stopped.

The Law Enforcement Agencies certainly get big sums of money to combat drug gangs. If that "war" was won there wouldn't be those funds . ;)

And we get to pay for it, plus feeding and housing all those arrested. No wonder I just keep getting poorer.  :'(

PS, that war can't be won. But it can be ended.
