OMG  me like, how does she shoot, post pic K  . You plan on hunting with it?

I haven't shot it yet. I doubt I will hunt with it. Most of my hunting is for Elk, at some pretty long ranges. I have plenty of rifles for that duty.  Hopefully I will shoot it this weekend.

it's a 308 correct? slap a 5rd mag if legal, in it.... i'ld hunt with it, it should be aright for elk.

.308 is fine for elk, but I hunt clear cuts in Idaho and Montana. Some of those shots are 300 yards or in that neighborhood.

I have other rifles that shoot 3 inch groups at that range.

300 yards should be nothing to an FAL. Excellent weapons!
I must say that is about the "Prettiest"
one I have ever saw. I would miss the carry handle though.

Its not so much the distance, but the group size and energy. When I shoot at a 6x6 bull at 325 yards, I want to know exactly where the bullet will hit, and that it will still have the energy to drop him.  My magnums will do the job cleanly, so why experiment? But that's just me.  I don't like them to get away. I've never had to track an elk more than 50 yards or so.
