lyman # 314299

Is there anyone that has the   lyman # 314299 mold that would sell me a few of the bullets cast from it? I wnt to try them before I buy another mold that may or may not work in my gun.

Thanks.  Have you taken measurements of the throat ?  You should know if you need .312, .313,.314 or larger.  It is no use having someone donate .312 bullets if you need .315s.  rp

That mould is supposed to throw a .314 bullet. I bought the Lee 314 mould, but the only place it is .314 is on a couple of narrow driving bands at the base of the bullet. They tumble out of the barrel. From the driving bands forward the bullet is .305.
  I think the Lyman mould may carry the .314 the full length of the bullet. But don't want to waste $60 if it doesn’t.
   An old man on SS can't afford to waste money.

The description of the bullet you have is important.  I gather that you havent measured the throat dimension.  rp
