44 cal mold

Hey veral

I am wanting to order a mold for my SBH and Winchester 94 in 44 mag. and I was wondering if you recommend a WFN or LFN for the 94. Most if not all of my shooting with this rifle would be no more than 100-150 yards. I was wanting to get a mold so suit both guns and my thinking was that the LFN would feed better in the rifle. What do you recommend?
Most men wil blink an eye or take a breath before pulling the trigger, I won;t

I prefer a 280 gr LFN with the nose length cut at .4 for use in lever rifles.  This will reduce maximum velocity in the SBH a bit, probably to about 1500 fps with full loads, but in the rifle speed will be around 1900 fps, and recoil sharp.  I prefer rifle loads with this bullet, at around 1400-1500 fps, for any game to moose etc.

So, though loads will be interchangable, I reccomend loading two different loads, one for each gun, and mark them well so the ammo doesn't get mixed up.  It will still be safe in either gun.  Just not optimized for each.
