TC G2 Contender up to 30-06?

I was listening to the TC Arms video advertisement about the G2 Contender.  I says that the Contender is chambered up to a 30-06, but I can't find any information on the website or custom shop calibers for a 30-06 or even a 308 with the G2 Contender.  Was this just an error in the video?

The big calibers are in the Encore and not contender or G2, you can get a 45-70 in G2, Like a lot of sales pitches, the producers are not gun people, They are add people who are producing an add for a company.I am supprised that TC did not view and catch this.

I watched that video over a year ago and laughed, but it’s truly not funny how a firearms manufacture can make such a huge mistake.  How can this video error go unchanged for so long?

I look at this in this light.  Ever see a Canadian goose in a movie with a sound of a duck quacking.

Anyway, the T/C Encore, and Icon, Venture are the only firearms that can handle the 30-06 Springfield pressures.

As I said ad people produce ads, that does not mean they are hunters or know their product. Many many years ago when Ted williams was a spokes person for Sears they showed him in a boat fishing with a new fancy rod and reel that they were promoting and the line from the reel ran through that little hook holder and then out through the guides into the water. The hook holder was there so when you were carrying your rod you hooked the lure or bait hook there so it would not be hanging loose, any way you fishermen know what it is. Lots of fishermen wrote sears and told them to use a real fisherman in ads not someone who did not know how to string up a rod. Their response was that Ted was an expert fisherman but the add man who drew up the ad was not a fisherman.
