I live 10 minutes from Clelands.  I talked to my hunting buddy who is a Professional Fire Fighter, he wasn't a responder but from what he heard on his radio the place is history.  It explains the Ohio State Troopers I saw flying down Airport Highway this afternoon, their barracks is next door.  I guess they told the folks across the street to stay inside the mexican restaurant because cartridges where going off.  There goes my nearest source of primers.  There is a propane distributor nearby but it is probably a good 500 feet away, that would have been interesting if it had got involved.

The news made a big deal about the black powder and ammo.
It is my understanding that ammo will not propel the bullets very far at all if not just out of the case if it is not in a chamber to contain the pressure

The bullet usually weighs more than the brass so I would expect the brass to fly faster/further.  The few 22LRs that I have witness in a fire just popped and didn't do much more than throw hot coals in the air.

They would sell me .454 ammo but wouldn't let me shoot it in there indoor range. When they rebuild I hope it's a better range. I let my local fire department know that I have gun powder and what room it's in.
RIP Mike. Died on July 14th, around 2am, with his family at his side, he went peacefully to be with god.

They had a little gold mine there with the state patrol next door and the indoor range, also ccw classes on weekends.
I cannot imagine them not reopening

Cleland's Update.

Look's like Cleland's is in the process of setting up shop in a building across the street from the burned out building.  They have a couple of pics. posted on their website and a little blurp about rebuildling their business.  I haven't made it over there yet to see if they have the doors open yet.
