They put the right twist in it also, 8 twist, to shoot the heavy bullets as well as light. Too bad they only put a 22" barrel on them. It would be really great if they would make it in the heavy barrel rifle with about a 26" tube. Wonder how much they are?

Very good move & they might sell. The 6.5 cal. is making noise in various forms all over the ranges.

I don't know if you can get one but the 6.5x55 has been on their website for quite a while. probably the last couple years.

I just bought one about a month ago and was told they were discontinued. Don't know if that was true or not but that is what the gunshop owner said his supplier told him. It wasn't a sales pitch either because I asked to buy one and the gunshop owner called his supplier to see if he had any. He had three so I ordered one.

Actually the 6.5 chambering disappeared for a while and is now back.
