Right now I have 1 1/16" for my Boat Howitzer & Parrots , and 1 3/8" for my Mountian Howitzer . $25.00 pair delivered . Adding other sizes as needed . Any diameter possible . Limited only by 70 ton press . I tried 2 different thicknesses of material . 1/8" & 3/16"  Armorer77

So much easier to use a press than to forge them by hand!  $25 is a great deal compared to the hours of sweating over an anvil, and a vise.

Nice looking trunnion caps!

I admit that hand forged would be more authentic but who would pay for that much skilled labor ?

I made some dies like that once  :)

Just so happens, I need a pair. 1.75".  Would a angled cheek (naval carriage) design be out of the question?
