I am reading in the second edition of the Lee manual, and I do not find a listing for the H335 powder with the 100 gr jacketed. Might be in the 1st edition.

HUH! I was going to suggest you could go to the Hodgdon website. But they only list H335 for 58 and 60 gr bullets in  243 win!  They have so many powders maybe H335 isn't the best for 243 at 100gr - but if its what ya got.... I'm guessing H335 is a bit fast for the 100 grain.

Tim:

Not wanting to get into a war here, I think there are different versions of the second edition, mine is a 2008 Reprint.

Double checking there is no reference for .243 H335 for 100gr jacketed on page 270 or 271 in my manual.

The only mention of H335 is on page 271 for 105gr jacketed.

Page 272 has no load data and has one word at the top "NOTES".

Tim, as a test, what page does the data for the 6.5x55 Swedish Mauser begin?

I attached a scanned copy of the manual in my last reply, see 243 data.pdf at the bottom of my last reply. Page 272 has the last 100gr load, then 105gr, 107gr and 117gr.  6.5x55 data starts on pg 314.

Tim: You proved our editions are different. My Page 270 starts with 95 grain, yours starts with 85 grain.

Brian, what's the copyright year in your second edition? Mine's 2003, reprinted in 2003, 2004, so mine is a 2004, I bought it in 2005.

Mine is the 2010 reprint. I didn't see anything on the load posted. I didn't say anything about it, cause my eyes could have missed it. There is certainly some difference in some of those reprints.

Tim: My copyright is 2003 also, and the reprint is 2008, I bought it in 2008.

This is a really big lesson in what I think we all presumed would be no changes one reprint to the other, but there obviously are differences.

A little off subject but does any of the Lee manuals have a listing for the 204 Ruger ? I know the manual was printed before the 204Ruger was developed and was wondering if any of the reprints had been up dated to include it........ thanks, and sorry for the hijack  ;D
