Hey guys I was wondering I have a bit of IMR 3031 powder lying around...
I have no data but could this be used to fireform thr brass for me with 125grain bullets? ( all spare stuff I have) If so what charge to fireform with?

While i do understand trying to use surplus powders ( extra ) for these type chores , its not always the best idea without doing a bit of research . ( Disclaimer )  ;)

However if all your wanting to do is fire-form the case's , I'd look at the starting data for the 308 Win with that powder & bullet weight , while the 309 has a bit more case cap. it should not make a difference for this .
