I have been using Excaliber Silver Thread fishing line "clear" for many years now with great success. Recently (last fall) I switched to Excaliber Silver Thread AN40 and I have had nothing but rats nets yes on a spinning reel and i put it on the same way I always do. I just switched back to regular excaliber silver thread and it feels different more flexable than the AN40. BigBill
