question about a.45 lee mold
« on: July 09, 2010, 03:57:31 PM »
Anyone have any experience with a Lee TL452-200-swc.
Was wanting a good bullseye bullet.
Had a Lee 230 gr. round nose, my .45 did not like it. I have two other Lee molds one is for my .450, the other for my 45 colt. Both these bullets shoot exceptionally well.
The 200 gr. mold that I am asking about is a tumble lube which has also worked well for me, Just wondering if anyone has used this particular mold and what they thought of it.
Thanks
j

I have that mold & it's working fine for me. I have loaded them so far in the 45 Colt & 45 Schofield. I mostly got it for the 45 acp but I already have a bunch of 200 grn plated bullets for the acp.

I've got both the 2 and 6 cav mold for that bullet.  My 45 Colts both have shot thousands and I have put a couple hundred more tru a friends 1911.  The 1911 feed and fired just fine.
Haven't bench tested any for extrem accuracy.  If its minute of SASS target I'm happy.
