Your right, it's not getting better, due to the policies put in place by both feds and some states, it's not going to either.

Kind of hard to spend 600 billion tax dollars you never had on 600,000 governmet/or tax payer held jobs (most part time jobs) and get that to pan out. It can't work.

Next thing you'll hear is their fix will be to flood the market with even more money from the printers...cause they are too stupid to do anything else...and that will make sure inflation hits us like a ton of bricks.

Not hard to figure what they will do next, everything they have done is predictable.  Spend...tax...print money, spend, tax, print money...government grows, private sector shrinks.

Economy is not hard to figure out, it's impossible for government to create any jobs, all they would have to do is get out of the way and stop spending and printing money, lower the tax rates on everyone, not only would things get better, the government would take in more money in the end as well. IRS claims they took in the most amount of money when taxes were cut...gee...I wonder why.

The current bunch of people in charge had an economic plan that failed, they were defeated, they put in motion policies that made things much worse...but even though their theories have been defeated, they are still in office you will see them double down on bad policies very soon...and things will get twice as bad soon after.  What this means is they would rather ruin all of America than admit stupidity and defeat...and that will cost us dearly.

It is getting worse, I have now lost 60% of my business. It looks as if it is going to go down even further.  >:(

My opinion of this economy, is like tracking the depth of water off the continental shelf. It's stays the same, might come up a little, but then you fall off into the abyss.
And, when that happens, to late to go back. gypsyman

Well, I was off 8 months, and got a job that paid good. For three weeks, and the company shut down. Now I have another job that looks better and more steady. It has been a bad year here, and for every job, there are hundreds of applicants. BO had better step things up on the job thing. I think he might be lyin. ;D

Wife heard bad news today.  Feds want central bank to buy up the government bonds.  Well, that is like borrowing from yourself.  It will cause inflation, like printing extra money.  So, the stock market goes down.  China's economy is almost on the brink.  About half of their businesses and industry is late on their bank loans, so their banks are on the brink of failing.  That means, they may want to cash in the bonds they bought from our government, about $1 trillion worth.  Japan has about $1 trillion also.  The feds can go bankrupt, then there will be no welfare, no foodstamps, and no military.

The fed failing would be the straw that broke the back. An end to gooberment checks, food stamps, AND SS checks? What would happen? People would want their retirement now so would there be a run on the banks to cash out 401's, money markets, etc?

Also heard that many companies have money and cash in their bottom lines.  They do not want to hire because they are unsure of the taxes, especially the extra taxes for health care.  They are waiting out Obama, hoping to get conservatives elected this fall to gut the health care bill, and try to stop and cut down on spending, then you will see the economy start to improve.  Even the socialist European nations told Obama to cut spending if he wants the economy to improve.
