Does anybody think it would be sacrilege to to put fiber optic type sights on a Model 41?
Thanks :)

I don't think you'll gain anything accuracy wise and if that's the purpose, I'd go to the red dot.

I really like the fiber optic sights on my Browning, tried the red dot and wasn't pleased, the dot becomes relatively larger with distance. The Smith would need machining for the front sight replacement.
Just an idea. I know my accuracy improved with the browning, M41 is still the one I am most accurate with, I think the fiber sights might be a help .

I wont fool with fiber optic sights on handguns. To me they dont allow for as precise of a sight picture as a good old black blade and the couple years i shot competively with them it seemed like they were constantly getting broke. I used to carry extra inserts with me. There good enough for quick shooting action events but for the precise shooting a 41 is capable of i would want them.
